Adapting to a clean and sober lifestyle while remaining abstinent from drugs and alcohol can be very difficult for people in early recovery. In New Jersey, the Flynn House provides adult men in their recovery with a safe substance free environment and the personal help and tools they need to achieve a productive lifestyle of sobriety.
The Flynn House has been in operation since 1961, they're a sober living home (halfway house), specifically for males eighteen and above with a past of substance abuse problems. Because the Flynn House doesn't provide lcohol and drug treatment services, potential residents have to be clean and sober before they can be admitted.
While maintaining sobriety, male residents of the Flynn House have rules to live by, they gain employment, pay rent, attend Twelve-Step meetings daily, and learn to live with others. The remarkable services and personal help that Flynn House provides for men in their recovery helps them take responsibility, learn how to live their lives clean and sober every day, and achieve a life of lasting sobriety.
