Structured and Supportive Living Environment for Men

In Salisbury, Maryland Second Wind, Inc. provides a halfway house program for men that have completed a twenty eight day inpatient program. Males who are 18 years of age and older that have been referred to Second Wind from an inpatient alcohol and drug treatment facility is part of Second Winds criteria for admission.

Second Wind provides their male residents with a substance free living atmosphere including therapy, treatment planning, individual and group counseling, twelve step programs and family programs to help them through their recovery process and learn how to maintain abstinence on a daily basis. Since 1972 they have been helping men in their early recovery that want to remain clean and sober, learn how to adjust to living life on a daily basis remaining abstinent.

The level of treatment and care individuals need when recovering from alcohol or drug addiction is different for everyone. Halfway Houses are very beneficial for people who require a safe living environment, continued help, guidance and support while adjusting to daily life remaining clean and sober. Second Wind Inc. is a licensed halfway house that's committed to helping men who meet their admissions requirements through their recovery process as they learn to live their daily lives substance free so they can achieve long-term sobriety.
