My Father's House is a truly amazing intensive outpatient rehabilitation center that provides substance abuse treatment to men, women, and adolescents including the elderly. What makes My Father's House so unique from many other substance abuse rehab programs is that most of their clients live below poverty levels and most of them are court mandated so they don't really want to be there to begin with.
Even though most of the people that come through the doors of My Father's House are there because they're court ordered to be, they're treated with dignity and respect and it doesn't take long for them to realize the staff truly understands and cares about them. My Father's House provides treatment services for men, women, adolescents and family counseling so that family members, partners, spouses and loved one's all have the opportunity to have their feelings addressed and heal.
At My Father's House, everyone comes to terms with their painful addiction and the problems their use of drugs or alcohol has caused in their lives in their own way, and at their own pace. In time, their clients are able to reach deep inside themselves into the pain and darkness and talk about feelings and emotions they've kept buried for such a long time. With effective individual guidance, group and staff support, their clients are able to finally express themselves, take responsibility and make difficult yet positive changes in their lives that promote overall healing and lasting freedom from substance use.
My Father's House offers individuals struggling from the devastation their use of drugs and alcohol has caused in their lives hope, spiritual healing and the opportunity to transform their lives, and they don't walk this path alone. Clients are not only treated like family at My Father's House, they feel like family and become connected and support one another during their recovery which is not always the case in many rehab settings.
When a person is going through the many different phases of recovery from addiction it can be very emotionally painful at first. Once a person is able to recognize they have a problem with drugs or alcohol, be honest with themselves and talk about their painful feelings, spiritual healing and recovery can begin. The staff at My Father's House provides those that come through their doors the opportunity to heal from the inside out and find their real purpose in life.
